AnySquared's "Because Art" exhibit presents work that reveals the discourse between the art and the artist. Through installation, painting, drawing, photography, video, sculpture and mixed media, the exhibit explores approaches and techniques of art practice and how it is shaped through the process of self-identification.

ephemera

ephemera

the goal of “ephemera” was to create a site-specific installation inside of a theatrical production. everything on stage that was not flesh, fabric or structural lumber was made entirely by me from recycled cardboard. unifying the visual elements in cerulean-colored, recycled cardboard created an experience where each moment of the play may be seen as an ephemeral, visually-complete painting, re-enforcing the spine and supporting the director’s vision, but able to exist on it’s own.

A World Premiere Sci Fi Comedy!
When a talking monkey appears in the airlock of the space station Ephemera, the crew learns they may be the last defense of planet Earth. Bryce Wissel's zany comedy features a tortured love triangle, a mariachi-singing robot, and the threat of interstellar combat with an unknowable enemy.
